Assembled in Motion : Chuck Ryan Alumni Profile
For this SCAD alumni profile, I animated the motion graphics for a feature on Chuck Ryan (B.F.A. Fashion, 2024), a designer known for flipping menswear conventions and turning personal experience into bold visual statements. The piece celebrates experimentation, identity, and a willingness to break the rules.
I translated Chuck’s visual world into motion by embracing an intentionally tactile, analog feel. Through the use of texture, collage, cut-outs, and frame-by-frame animation, the graphics feel hands-on and imperfect—more assembled than polished—allowing the motion to mirror the physicality, personality, and raw energy of his work.
